• To provide and personalise the ReviseKit service (spaced repetition, progress tracking)
• To manage your account and subscription
• To improve the platform based on aggregate usage patterns
• We do not sell your personal data to third parties

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your data under contract (to deliver the service you signed up for) and legitimate interests (to maintain platform security and improve features).

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days. Anonymised aggregate statistics may be retained for analytical purposes.

ReviseKit is a GCSE revision web application providing flashcards, challenge mode, and course materials for students in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland. The service covers AQA, Edexcel, OCR, and WJEC/Eduqas exam boards across multiple subjects.

2. User Accounts & Responsibilities

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your password
• You must be at least 13 years old to use ReviseKit, or have parental consent if under 18
• You agree not to attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service
• ReviseKit Education reserves the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms

3. Subscription Terms

• Free plan: Provides access to AQA Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) flashcards and challenge mode with a limit of 30 questions per day
• Pro Monthly: £2.99 per month, billed monthly, with a 14-day free trial. Provides access to all subjects, all exam boards, unlimited questions, and all premium features
• Pro Annual: £19.99 per year (saving ~44%). Same Pro features as monthly plan with a 14-day free trial
• Cancellation: You may cancel at any time. Your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period. No refunds for partial months
• Prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable

4. Intellectual Property

All content on ReviseKit (flashcard questions and answers, course materials, UI design, and code) is the intellectual property of ReviseKit Education unless otherwise stated. You may use the content for personal, non-commercial revision only. Redistribution or republication is prohibited.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

ReviseKit is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the content is 100% accurate, complete, or up to date with current exam specifications. Always verify key information with your teacher or official exam board materials.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, ReviseKit Education shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to exam results.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
